Glass paintings

The back-lit glass painting has a dual function: to provide a source of light and to decorate. The picture on the glass can be made using either the Tiffany technique or collage or melting glass or it can be directly painted onto the pane.

A method of illuminating the painting (bulbs or LED) will be placed behind the painting to achieve the desired effect.

Over time we have created many different types of glass paintings, usual linked to some personal or family theme or connected to a job or a profession. For example a picture of an old family village, a grandparent’s house, an adored household pet, a favourite countryside view, a meaningful religious symbol, a relevant emblem for a shop (a glass panel depicting fish for a restaurant) or a profession (the scales of justice for a legal practice).
